I relished the chance to bridge the gap between three powerful players in the University environment (a rare feat). Working with an international industry leader and the collective skills of the Multimedia Newsroom, the School of Business and the Department of Design provides great experience in project management on a large scale. The Nokia Project - developing powerful friends

In December 2006, KU's design department approached Professor Rick Musser and me about developing a long-term, multi-disciplinary project with telecommunication industry leaders Nokia and Cingular. We jumped at the chance to develop this relationship. Partnering with the KU School of Business' Entrepreneurship Program and the Department of Design, we collectively examined the high-end Nokia N73 and N93 camera phones.
